I haven't seen these yet, but am told I can get them (2) new LS6 crate engines still boxed up from GM complete. Never been uncrated. $6000 ea.

Just figured I'd see if anyone would be interested for this price, I don't know what they normally sell for, so let me know if this is good.

If there is any interest, I can check them out next week.

It depends. If it's just the '02-up LS6 longblock with F-Body oil pan included in the crate, then NO, it's not a good price. I just paid $5300 SHIPPED for my LS6 longblock and finished the install last week. If it's an LS6 complete with all accessories, intake, manifolds, etc., then yes, $6,000 is a good price because a complete LS6 is around $7,000 at discounted dealers.

If it's the 385 HP '01 LS6, then I don't think it's a good deal no matter if it's complete or not.

 

I will find out a little more about the actual engine, but I am told it is a complete engine, everything including coils and plug wires, intake, etc. I will find out the year. These engines were purchased by a race shop to be converted into 427's, but never made it.
