New Corbeau TRS seats and tracks
New Corbeau TRS seats and tracks
I'm tossing this out for everyone who is looking for seats.
I just received a set of Black, Corbeau TRS "wide" seats and F-body seat tracks (for a 4th gen F-body). They showed up on Tuesday. These are brand new, they have been bolted in the car once. I have decided that I want to use a race seat and change seats for tracktime and autocrosses. So, I'm sending these back. The catch is.....
Corbeau has a 7 day return policy (have to be "in the mail" in 7 days). They are going to change me a restocking fee. If I'm going to give them the seats back and let them keep my money I may as well offer them to you guys for the "restock" rate.
I paid $894 for seats and brackets.
$640-pair of seats
$96-additional charge for "wide" seats per pair (up to 42" waist)
$79-each for brackets (2 factory Corbeau brackets)
$894 total
10% restock fee is $89.40 ($894.00-$89.40 is $804.60).
I'll take $800 + freight (freight to utah from ohio looks like $70-ish) (if we are close in price, drop me a line, I'd rather see these go to a good home).
They look just like the picture seen here:

I have to have these in the mail by Tuesday, so if anyone is interested, I have to have a money order or cashiers check by Monday or I have to ship them out. You can reach me at trackbirdengineering@columbus.rr.com
Thanks,
Kevin

Scott,
I know they fit both generations, but Corbeau has seperate brackets for each generation (and I hvea no idea why???). That is why I mention it....
And, I wish you had the money as well. I'd rather send them to a good home. I mean, if I'm going to lose money, I may as well help a fellow F-body enthusiast out.

I'm not set up for paypal, but I could change that if needed.

Shipping to Ft Myers, FL would run about $66 per the UPS website. (I'd have to verify that before I swear to it though).

I decided to keep them and sell them instead of giving Corbeau a restocking fee. I'll discount them the same as the fee, but they are still available if anyone is intersted.
Thanks,
Kevin

I took photos before I removed them from the car. I really like these seats, but I want dedicated track seats instead. I ordered them and got thinking about my plans for the car and a race seat to swap in makes sense for me.

FYI though, those seats will fit into a 3rd gen F-Body as well, the mounting locations are exactly the same.
