New 236/248 hyd roller cam for LT1/LT4
New 236/248 hyd roller cam for LT1/LT4
I have a new custom ground cam for sale it is basically a Comp Cams Nitrous Extreme cam grind number NX288HR with the following specs:
236/248 duration @ .050
.520/.540 lift with 1.5 rockers
.554/.576 lift with 1.6 rockers
LSA= 114 degrees
This cam is ground on a Crane 8620 billet steel core with a cast gear, so this is a premium cam unlike Comps "ostempered" core which is nothing but a cast core with special treatment to make it a roller cam. I purchased the actual Comp cam and had it mastered by my local cam grinder and he ground the cam on the new Crane cores. This is a large cam, and is suitable for large displacement LTx engines running aminimum of 10.5:1 or greater or having a blower with up to 14 PSI of boost. Caculated overlap is 14 degrees which is the same as the venerable CC306 cam. If you want a nasty sounding cam this is it for your LTx engine.
Asking $275 which is my cost. Email me if interested as I don't check this forum often to catch any PMs.
This cam can also be used in any late model SBC block that is roller cam ready. All one has to do is to shorten the dowel pin.
