My stuff for sale unofficially

I haven't made a 100% decision on selling but its 90% done. I just have to decide on the new combo for the SBC engine I am building. So I am posting this stuff here to see how much interest I get in it. These parts are proven to make the most power on an LT1. Over 160 mph on NOS in the quarter. All prices will be FOB Chicago where the parts are being reconditioned by Fast Times Motorworks.

LT1 top end package

AFR 220LT4 heads CNC by Fast Times(flow numbers are available and have been posted here before. The heads come with 2.08, 1.60 valves and double pacoloy K950 Kmotion springs new. Titanium locks and retainers. 64CC chambers and a they are angle milled.
2925 Super Victor intake ported and flow matched to the above heads. Intake is plumbed for a fogger(not for sale) all holes will be plugged
Custom center bolt sheet metal valve covers(welded) made out of aluminum
Custom solid roller Nitrious cam. Cam is very large and I recommend very limited street driving. It is billet with over .700 lift
Custom BME nitrious pistons. These are for heavy use. 14.4 compression.

Bolt these parts into your LT1 and you are going to go 135 mph on the motor. If a buyer buys the package I will supply NOS patterns that suit the combination. All parts are in excellent condition and have been inspected by Fast Times motorworks in Chicago

I am not going to play with the price much so please only very serious offers.

Asking $6200 USD

Thanks Vince

Re: My stuff for sale unofficially

Yep its allot of cash but it is for 3 reasons.

1) the combination works and is proven to be very powerful
2) If you price that parts and figure the custom work to make this stuff you will find the price fair
3) You can't pick up stuff like this from just any shop or the internet. This stuff is in short supply. look at the shop cars that can't go this fast? If the shop cars can't make this much power then that has to be worth something? You are paying for the work in the combination not just the cost of parts.

As usual all IMHO

Re: My stuff for sale unofficially

any interest in trading just the complete heads and valvecovers for some complete SB2.2 heads, along with a T&D shaft setup, intake base, head studs, and cast aluminum valve covers?

I think that canadian weather has frozen your brain!

Better have the goods this next year and get enough ***** up to come down here where the real racing is!

Nobody wants to go up there and race for Maple Syrup and Walleye!

I think Vince's success with this setup speaks for itself. To my knowledge, it's still the highest mph lt1 (went 163.xx at over 3300lbs) and it would have had the quickest ET but he was racing in a class that required a DOT tire and max -4 nos line and couldn't hook it up.

Who are you Mr. StrokeTA?

Re: My stuff for sale unofficially

LOL!! Dave, Your too funny. I think all that living in a house with a dirt floor has rotted not only your teeth but left you helpless to determine fact from fiction. Why Don't you sell a couple of your kids and buy my set up so you could actually break 120mph in the 1/8th??

Its ok that your are challenged to go faster then my pathetic little stock block engine with crappy little unported heads. In comparison to your super american parts 400+CID engine with Dart blocks and monster heads my taxi cab engine is so pathetic. But when it comes down to who is making power while you should just go home; play with your tool; and try and fix your carb!!

Next year??? I want to go twice as fast you on the motor!! That means my car will actually run under its own power!!! Oh ya...What was the last drag race you won????Don't you just TNT your life away?? Kinda stress free! Hope you don't buckle!! Kinda tough to cut a light on a sportsman tree under the pressure that the TNT guy beside might be awake!!

So what do you wanna trade?? And no I don't want you sister!! Or brother!! Thank you!

LOL! MAN I was wanting to get rid of my brother and sister!

I ran heads up just a few months ago. Cut a .014 light on a .400 tree. I don't think that's too bad. Had a 1.30 60'. Have just had little gremlins here and there. I drive my own car and am not afraid to run faster than 10.0.

I can't get to the track much down here, because I do have kids and they are more important to me than racing.

I know and hope, you are just ripping me, but your bud needs to watch it.

I'm just ripping you and you should know that!

For everyone else: Vince's motor is probably the best you will get for an LT1 set-up and nitrous. The price isn't high either. Just look at what you get and what it would cost to get all the tuning correct. It's proven.

Later,
Dave Brown
P.S. I don't think my times are bad for an 11:1, under .680 lift cam, 260-270 dur cam, 406 sbc, that can run on pump gas. 653 horse, 3400+#'s. 6.01 at 115mph running only 2nd gear and third. hit 2nd right off the line on accident.

Re: My stuff for sale unofficially

Hey my only quam was that people who do not know you were joking would think you were questioning the performance of those parts. And that's the worst thing you can do when someone is trying to sell something. So as a friend of Vince's, I wanted to make sure you understood the connotations of your statements to prospective buyers.

Your motor sounds 'ok'.
