That is exactly what I did.

when I bought my car, it had an autozone clutch in it. I bought this clutch, took the old one out, took the receipt back, got my money back, and kept this clutch.

they didnt just give u a new clutch? they let u get ur $$ back?? also is there anyway for them to find out that thats not the clutch that i got from them? wont they be able to realize that the clutch isnt bad? let me know what i shouldd do

 

Just tell them that it's slipping. They can't question that. The first place I went to tried to tell me I could only exchange, so I just went somewhere else. I talked to the manager and he said I could exchange.

YOU MUST TELL THEM THAT YOU ALREADY BOUGHT ANOTHER CLUTCH IN ORDER TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK WITHOUT HASSLE.

Just tell them you got a Spec or something.
