This is a cold air kit for a 94-97 LT1. I had it on my car and recently had a nitrous back fire. The backfire destroyed the air filter but did no damage to the intake tube itself. I have a ram air hood ordered so I am just going to get the ram air kit for the car. The intake will NOT COME WITH FILTER!!!! I checked last night and K&N makes one for 36.00 that will fit the CAI. I was going to ask 100 dollars for it but since I don't have a filter anymore I am asking 75.00 shipped OBO. If you don't want to mess with getting the filter then I will just order the K&N and then sell it for 100 shipped. Thanks

 

I'm interested if I can get a few extra bucks between fill-ups :P (gas is rediculus...spelling???). What size filter does it need, the cone?

yeah its a cone type but has to have a 5" opening to connect to the CAI. I can get the exact part number from K&N so that way there is no confusion. I called Moroso and they want 48 bucks for a new filter when K&N only wants 36.
