madz28 OBDI conversion pcm
madz28 OBDI conversion pcm
for the 96 and 97 OBDII LT1's
i paid 225 for it, ill sell it for 160 shipped, used it for around 6 months on my 96 Z28, no core or anything just a pcm you plug in place of your OBDII pcm, and it converts it to the OBDI computer so you can tune/data log etc with the cheaper OBDI equipment. has his stock-car tune, i only had a cai and catback on the car, and it revved so much smoother with this than the stock one.
taking my car back down to stock, so i want to sell it, let me know!

Re: madz28 OBDI conversion pcm
to the top, i have confirmed that the pcm cannot be used in an OBDI car since it is reprogrammed to be used in an OBDII car and work with the OBDII's knock sensor etc, let me know if anyone is interested
Re: madz28 OBDI conversion pcm
Yes that is correct this PCM is for an OBD-2 (96-97) car to convert it to an OBD-1 and it is worth the price he was asking for it. New from PCMforless they go fo $275.
Re: madz28 OBDI conversion pcm
Thanks for the additional info. If it's an OBDI conversion PCM then it's worth
more because of the modification to the knock sensor circuit. Sorry for the
misunderstanding.
