i bought a set of valve covers from madmaxxz28 and paid for them on december 25 and have yet to recieve them....in his last PM he told me he ran out of money so he would ship asap....shouldve sent my covers before you spent a penny of "my money"....he also said they are in the mail and hed find the tracking number and i have yet to hear back from him.....MADMAXXZ28 i want my valvecovers i paid for or at least have some decency to talk to me instead of ignoring my emails and PMs.........

You see this is what I'm talking about right here. I get a bad rep for returning someones money as a seller and makes 3 pages and this dude is getting ripped off and I'm the only one responding to his thread. WHATS UP WITH THIS

 

Not sure what to say about it, except buyer beware. All of us who buy or even sell things here take a chance, just like if you buy from Ebay. Even though you can try to make sure people know about bad business practices, in the end you may still be out money. On some other forums they have a feedback section in the marketplace area. Maybe this should be something that could be considered here.

 

how did you pay? i had the same problem with someone but i used paypal and when i didnt recieve after a month i told the person i wanted a refund...when he didnt refund i made a complaint to paypal and they made him refund me. but now im the bad guy on another board!

 

I have learned to always pay with either paypal or if they want to sell it to you then they will accept cod. Sorry you got burned man!

 

i paid with paypal but seriously i would rather have the valve covers....im gonna give him a little more time then ill file the complaint with paypal....he seemed like a cool dude, i checked up on him and hes somewhat of a regular on here as far as posting goes just needs to work on his shipping skills!!! ill keep you guys updated but was hoping hed see this post and know im not picking around
