These were on my Dad's 29 Model A Roadster. One has a groove cut into the tread due to the tire expanding at speed on the Dyno and the fender cut into it. It basically goes as deep as the tread grooves due and the tire shouldn't be compromised in any way. The actual groove is about the width of a piece of sheetmetal, but it looks wide because the surrounding tread got roughed up in the process. Also have collected some shop dust that is sticking well due to the Armor All that was on the tires when they were stored. Good for mock-up or can likely be cleaned up for a street cruiser.
