i ordered one from gmpartsdirect.com, and there was 2 of them in the box. same part number and everything.....and since i can only use one....

15 dollars plus shipping. the thing only weighs about 2 ounces, so i could probably mail it through the post office for like 70 cents.....i don't know for sure tho.

a lot of guys do this what exactly does it help and or eliminate?

 

the stock knock module is more sensitive/prone to picking up false knock, especially when you have roller rockers. and some say when you have loud exhaust (headers). and if it picks up false knock it'll retard the timing and that results in lost horsepower.

if you plan on getting roller rockers or headers, or have them, it can't hurt, only help.

it only takes about 2 minutes to install.


i'd prefer a check, money order, or cashiers check. i don't have a paypal thingie setup. i'll set one up if you'd rather me do that? it doesn't cost very much does it?

okay, i just set up a paypal account.

it says i have to call my bank and verify the amounts deposited.
but i have to wait 2-3 days before it will be in the bank.

but it says you can send money to anyone with an email address.....i dunno i'm confused, i've never bought or sold anything on the net, to or from a person. just businesses.
