LT4 Firehawk #25 for sale
Well I've thought pretty hard about doing this and it is actually making me sick to my stomach typing this out.
I have decided to sell what could be the most collectable f-body ever made. Those are words rate from gm and SLP in a letter I have that came with the car. With a nine month old and another due in Jan. financially it is the thing to do. I need to buy a new work truck that will fit two baby seats and my tools. the van won't cut it any more. I have an agreement with my wife that I will be getting another car very soon and I always upgrade!
Now for the details. The car comes complete with all the mods in the signature. Also included is all the paper work for the car wich is: Original SLP window sticker, shipping reciept from slp to dealership, congratulatory letter from slp, supplementary paper work and warrenty information from slp, High performance Pontiac and Motor Trend magazines with articles on the LT4 Firehawk's, and a Dealership Video caset with information about all the Firehawks of 97 including the LT4.
Vehicle condition: The car has 52,000 miles on it, that is why I decided to sqeeze a little more power out of it
. The condition of the car is excellent. It has the wear of a car with half that many miles. There are the usual minor rock chip repairs on the front and a very small scratch repair on the roof. The rear bumper has a very slight spyder web on it that you can hardely notice. I am VERY picky with the condition of my vehicles and these things don't bother me. I just replaced all the decals on the car so it really looks practically new. The interior is in excellent shape also. The carpet and floor mats look new. The mats were only used for shows. It has a VERY slight oil leak at the timing chain cover seal from the cam install. I was going to fix it this winter while the car was in storage. This car runs excellent, all most as if it were stock except for the cam lope and speed. Very tight suspension with no rattles or squeaks.
Options: Clothe grey interior, Monsoon cd, Bilstien level 3 suspension, zexel torsion diff., 330 hp Balanced and Blue printed engine , Stainless steel exhaust mainfolds, Light weight fly wheel, High performance pressure plate, Light weight drive shaft, High strength ring and pinion gear set, Engine oil cooler, 17x9 chrome Firehawk rims.
The car will come with the original ecm, manifolds, y pipe and cats, air pump and plumbing, and ring and pinion. Everything else to turn it back to stock is readily available and cheap.
It will come with a folder of reciepts and paperwork documenting everything.
Extras that can be bought with the car:
- A pair of chrome 17x9.5 Z06 rims with BRAND NEW 315 BFG drag radials. ($600)
- Auto tap for palm with a brand new palm pilot for $300 ( a must for the LT1 edit)
I am asking $15,000 for the car. This is $3000 less then what I paid for it less then a year ago with out all the extras. I've put in $4,000 more into the car. The original window sticker on the car was $42,000
You can see this car and what other ones are going for on LT4.com.
Email for pictures only if you are interested please. I am on a dial up and they are very detailed pics.
Thanks
Jon

It's on ebay with a $16,000 reserve.
I would really like to sell the car but it's not going for anything less than that.

Probably not. You can change it to a hot Cam and with the LT1 edit it can be tuned to pass. I've even heard rumers that there is a program running around that will get a cc306 passed?
