lt1 short block w/ fresh rebuild. eagle I beams

I have an lt1 short block that has maybe 30 min of run time on it. It was just professionally rebuilt with eagle I beams new stock type crank and pistons. bored .20 over. blue printed and balanced. i am having some fuel dilivery and spark problems and i don't have the time or the money to invest in it. I am looking to get at least what i paid to get it rebuilt minus the cost of the gaskets and rods, which is about 1300.

Re: lt1 small block w/ fresh rebuild.

does this block have anything forged in it?

if it has forged pistons and rods i might be interested in it.. also interested in the pacesetters

Re: lt1 small block w/ fresh rebuild.

the eagle i beams are forged, but the pistons are not. The place that did the rebuild insured me that they were high quality. They said the used the same pistons in a small block chevy that ran the circle track over six thousand rpm for several years. He also said they would hold up to a small shot of Nitrous oxide as long as it wasn't over a 100 shot. Let me know what you think.

Re: lt1 small block w/ fresh rebuild.

well all you would need is some forged pistons. you could prob. sell the pistons off of my motor as well. it is still a great deal. think about it.

Heck..if they are better than stock..they will prolly take MORE than a 100 shot..many of us LT1 guys are spraying 150+ shots on stock pistons..so if these are better than stock this may be a good deal...good luck wit yer sale
