unbelivable i knew this guy was fishy this is why i kept asking you jklopez if he had gotten back to you or not and if you had recvd your t56.


i had posted a thread wlb a scanmaster and he responded to me saying he had one for $200 shipped i said fine i can do it but i need to see at least a picture of it, when i asked for the pic he said he didnt have a digital camera, then i asked him to send me a pic from a camera phone then he told me he didnt have one then i said well how about the couple of buddies who told you to come up on this site to sell your parts in the first place surely one of them or your wife has to have a camera phone then he told me they might have one but that he wouldnt be able to leave the house due to him taking care of the kids, then i said well dam you take care of the kids the whole day so how and when do you get a chance to ship or pull any parts off of a car if you cant get any free time, then i got no response.

i mean dam if you were intent on selling it due to seeing my thread WTB then why wouldnt you try to comply with what i was asking but it seemed like if he told me everyting he could to sell the scanmaster but not be able to send me pics. i mean i tried stopping him at every turn even telling him i am in no hurry i could wait a week or two until he got a pic he then proceeded to tell me he had to stay home 24/7 to take care of the kids at home. gee whiz some people are just plain dueches.

 

and not for nothing but $900 is alot of flow.

J/K I think at this point it would be wise to get the police involved...start with your local PD and work your way up from there. I work in IT, the internet is NOT anonymous, they can track his IP right back to his internet provider and from there (if instructed by law enforcement) they will have to give up the goods if a crime is involved, and tell them where the account resides.

BTW...this was fishy right from the start. I'm a system engineer and have seen my share of internet scams and what not, this one fits the model to a T. Hope you get your money back and in the future, if it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't.

 

What kind of shape is the dash pad in? Is a OEM or a repro and did it come on the car originally?

 

paypal is hopefuly going to get my money back which is all i care about. if they dont then the cops will be called.

to me no pics no money thats how i was on the scanmaster he was offering me and that was only $200 and he got over $1800 from people on here with no response.

 

my problem is he was sending me pics and responding quickly with all my questions and then all of a sudden he fell off the face of the planet. I am the one that is getting beat on the headers.

I am beginning to think I am in the wrong business! You mean to tell me this guy got over 1800 from running this scam?! We really need to police this site a little better and not make deals with people who are really new. From now on I am going to require a phone call before I buy anything...shouldn't be too much to ask right?

 

I thought this one smelled a little fishy.

That is an accurate city, in another thread there lists more specific instructions on where he lays his head at night. Been trying to get my buddy to case the place, seeing as he lives 5 minutes away but he wants nothing of it. I can't say I blame him for not wanting to get involved though.
