Lt1 forged 385 shortblock $1750

Lt1 forged 385 for sale
This engine was in my car and had to come out to make room for a new one It made 400.3 rwhp through a 6 speed with a rich but safe tune and it LOVES nitrous
In my daily driven 3600Lb car it went 7.03 @ 100mph on a 175 shot
Beings I work at a machine shop... i rebuilt it..engine had 25,000 miles on it when it came out... now its getting a fresh start...
block is torque plate honed .040 (no wear what-so-ever in the bores)
decked
new cam bearings brass freeze plugs and oil galley plugs
5140 Forged Scat crank 3.750 stroke
4130 Forged Scat 5.7 I beam rods with floating pins
Lunati Forged flat tops with 2 valve reliefs Comp Ratio 11:1 with stock 53cc head and .041 felpro 1074 gaskets
New ACL H series rod and main bearings
New Mahle Moly-ductile rings gapped to .020 and .022 ... for a little bottle
New Comp Cam 230/236 @.050 .576 .571 lift w/ 1.6 rockers(same specs as the cam that was in it)




Thats the shortblock... $1750 obo $200 shipping to 48 states
Will consider trade for s10 or little 4 cylinder truck or AFR LT4 210s or 227s

somebody has to have this i know it it'd cost 2500 to build one like it

Is the cam a short or long dowel for the early LT1's or the later? Will a stock oil pan fit it?

its the shorter one..it had a stock pan on it with the factory windage tray

Can you take some pics with the engine more close up and the block not cocked to the pic. It's hard to tell much with the pics crooked.
