I have a 95 Z28 and 2nd gear grinds so I know I might be due for a rebuild. How much more work would it be to just buy yours and install it? I would be paying to have it installed. If it's an easy swap I might make you an offer. Also, i am not to sure if the TH400 is a 6speed manual tranny or auto or what???

The Turbo400 is an A3 street and strip tranny. Its very strong but doesn't have the drivability of the 6 speed. Install is pretty easy though. Think about it and let me know.

My car is a daily driver. Would it be a good idea to use the T400?

My dad's car has a th400 and it really can't go on the highway. Depending on your rear end ratio, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you trailer car to track and only do driving in your area, it is a pretty sweet transmission.

The Turbo 400 is not for someone who does allot of highway driving. It just doesn't do it that well. The 400 is strong and will hold allot of power but it doesn't have an over drive.

LT1 homer- Sent you a PM

anti68pro69,

Your welcome to whatever I have forsale. The rods are easy to ship but in all truth shipping a block to texas could cost a small fortune. Let me know and thanks.

How much do you think the shipping costs would be for the block?

Shipping the block to texas??

My friend I can't even imagine what that would be worth. My Zip/postal code is L4C-9P5. I think its in the 150lb range. Why don't you look up how much tomorrow. I am sure its probably quite ridiculas. Let me know.
