LT1 355 Shortblock - SRP Pistons, SCAT Rods etc
FS: LT1 355 Short Block - SRP Forged Pistons, SCAT Forged Rods, Stock Crank ***Just back from the machine shop***
I had this short block in my 97 Transam and pulled it when I sold the car. The short block has about 20k miles on it, but I just spent $250 having the block completely disassembled and checked by the machine shop. It is ready to run. Compression with these pistons will be 10.5:1 to 11:1 depending on your heads and head gaskets.

Re: LT1 355 Shortblock - SRP Pistons, SCAT Rods etc
It will fit in a 95 z28. You will just need to swap your parts over to the block (like timing cover etc). The 97 crank reluctor ring is still installed too, so you would have to remove that too because a 95 wouldn't use one.
