i did some part number searching and double checked my invoice only to find out the gmpartsdirect sent me the wrong lifters...
i will try to get refund now... i should have part # 12499225

 

UPDATE- I got a reply from GM... "GM takes individual part numbers and puts them together and makes a kit part number at a much lower cost. In this case part number 17122490, GM combined 16 of them and made kit part number 12499225. GM does this so if in the future just 1 has to be replaced, a quantity of 16 does not have to be purchased. "
