LS1 brakes

Have a set of front calipers and rotors from an LS1 car.

I ran these for like 6 months and then upgraded to Camaro5 rotors and CTS-V calipers.

I'll take 50 for the entire setup. Located near charleston SC

SOLD

Re: LS1 brakes

How do the CTSV calipers work?
Any issues installing?

Simple install and they work amazingly well.

For an LT1 style car, you will need LS1 spindles. If you already have those, just order the CTS V calipers/pads, a pair 5th Gen Camaro rotors and the stainless steel braided lines. You'll need to get the rotors slightly machined to fit your hub. My friend ended up having the equipment to do this for $20 at his shop, but I was quoted as much as $150 to have this done before I knew he could do it. I called to ask him for a referral and he said he could just throw it on the bridgeport, so thats what we did and it came out perfectly.

I also went with a 5mm hubcentric spacer in the front, as I have 275 35 18 wheels up front and I get zero rub.

It is definitely a must do upgrade if you ask me and for the price, I don't think it can be beat. I think if you went with a performance brand you'd spend double than what the CTS V conversion will cost you. When doing this upgrade, you can spend as little as your resourcefulness will allow. I went with new calipers from an ebay seller and that was the most expensive part of the conversion at around $299 shipped with Pads.

Appox. cost breakdown

Calipers/Pads: $299
Steel braided lines: $70
Rotors: $86
Spacers: $15

Total: $470.

Again, could be done for less if you can find some used calipers/rotors.
