Lpe Lt1 Superram Base

I've had this laying around for a long time and never installed it. I have pics of the manifold and the manifold sitting on an LT1 head so you can see that it's the real deal.

Thanks for looking.

Re: Lpe Lt1 Superram Base

There is a specific plenum (upper manifold) that is designed to go in the F-bodies. It is about 5/8" shorter than the more common plenum. This version fits fine (looks cool too). The only other modification required is the use of L98 TPI fuel rails. You can get those used real cheap. If you're seriously interested I can put you in touch with a couple of people that can get you the parts you need to finish the system at a significantly lower price than you'll find advertised anywhere. Still ain't a cheap way to go but it has it's advantages IE around 60 ft lbs TQ over an LT1 manifold in low and midrange with a slight loss of peak HP.

Re: Lpe Lt1 Superram Base

Just wondering, is there any dyno charts of people who have used this vs. the LT1 manifold? I would be interested in putting a superram on it, but am curious to see how much HP there is to loose. Since alot of strokers only net you around 45ish ft. lbs anyway, it would be kinda like the same benefits without the hassle of bottom end work or just to add more grunt to an existing stroker (whee!)

Did a search and found nothing. I guess it makes sense because I never heard of it.
