***SOLD PF*** I had this Corsa installed late this winter after my heads/cam mods. It was louder than I anticipated with my LT Kooks w/ 3" y-pipe. It does sound good but I live 2 blocks from our suburban Police Dept. and it just attracts too much attention and I prefer a lower profile. I just ordered a Borla as a replacement and after it's installed, the Corsa is up for sale. My Z28 is not a daily driver (<12,000 mi.) and I have less than 400 miles on this exhaust, and it has never seen rain or snow. There is literally nothing wrong with it. I just prefer something quieter. I will sell it for $750 shipped in the CONUS 48 states, or $700 if met FTF in the central Ohio area. E-mail me with any questions. After a couple of e-mails apparently my title was misleading. In the title line description

SS=Stainless Steel, NOT SS=Super Sport It will fit fine on any dual cat LT1 car, either Camaro or Firebird. It will fit an SS car but will also fit any Z28/TA/Formula car. It is complete 100% 3" stainless from the converter to the tailpipes, with a Lifetime Warranty.

Great looking and great sounding system. I, too, have that same setup and the 90db drone @ 70 MPH will drive you mad.Wish there was a way to rein in the excessive sound levels. I have tried baffles, spiral flows and cones in order to quite it down, all to no avail.

 

I never had a droning issue at all with these pipes with my headers/y-pipe combo. Under light throttle cruise conditions it sounds fine. The only time I thought the sounds was too much for me, was when I had it over 3000 rpm and up with full throttle. It sounded great but I'm just mellowing with age and want to run a little lower profile. My son and his friends always commented on how great it sounded.
