FYI-I put a set of these on my car that were also used. The tabs were there but they had some grinding on them. I took them to a local muffler shop and they did a great job of welding them on to my car for $80 bucks. If they have the tabs there should be no problem reusing them. The car was noticable tighter IMO.

Just as RPWS6 said. The welds were grinded down and the tabs are still intact as can be seen in the pictures.
