ya i saw that thread.. i was so cool with this whole transaction. after i paid i even offered to let someone else get the lt4 km that wanted it more then i did.. im always cool with people on this site. but its weird how he refunded the money to another guy that "tried" to buy a lt4 km off of him and not me.
josh i've sent you alot of pm's.. after you "accidently" sent me and harvey both lt1 KM's. you said that you would be sending me the lt4 KM bc you had made a mistake. but now you wont reply to any PM's. i sent you $ 3 weeks ago. Just make this transaction right. just paypal the money back, its only $25 man.

jason d. i understand that we arent supposed to make threads like this.. but why should he still be able to come on this site and do transactions when its obvious he scams people.. i've always like this site bc its mostly lt1. but other sites would never let someone just scam people. ya some people get there parts.. BUT everyone should..

FWIW...my experience with him.


I sold him a Century/PMAC Torque Converter with ~5K miles. It worked perfect, only removed because I swapped to a t-56. I managed to meet up with him on a cross-country move, and he seemed like a cool dude.

2 Weeks later I get a PM. He says "The converter is bad,my engine builder said so..... send my money back and I'll send the converter back". Now I know that there is nothing wrong with it, so I ask him the name of the shop or builder so I can talk to them and make sure. He balks at that, and I dont hear from him again. I think he just changed his mind about the converter or something. Wierd.

IIRC, his wife or G/F drives a pretty nice Pewter T/A....

 

i tried to file a claim online and it asked if i recieved a part. and i said yes. and it said that i cant file a claim since i received a part and i didnt buy it from ebay, BUT maybe if i file a claim and say i didnt recieve a part<--which i pretty much didnt. a lt1 KM is worthless trash.. maybe then it will let me?

 

im going to call them tomorrow and see if i can still file a claim if i recieved a package.. bc on the site it says to check yes even if you recieved an empty package. He'll probably end up changing his name on ls1tech.

 

I had some problems from him as well about sending me money. All kinda of promises, but no cash.

 

well look dont know this guy and i hope all comes out good but people we need to rid the site of potentially most of these scammers on here, seems like everytime i get on here 1 or 2 people are being scammed. It sucks had it happen to me before, new actions need ot be put up like a list or something similar to ls1tech.com's site
