it's my dad's car. it is red with black stripes. the paint quality is certainly not show quality, but it is relatively new paint. this car is set up to drag race. here's what he had to say about it:
"It has the x-11 code on tag. Not sure if it is a 'true SS'. Was a 350 - 4 speed car originally. Does not have disc brakes at this time. Not sure if it did originally. Has a Dana 60 Rear end and 4-link system. electric fuel pump, line lock, tubbed, and 4-point cage at this time. Frame is tied . Is set up for big block, 350 th automatic at this time. Rear tires are 29x15 on centerlines. Front standard 15" on centerlines. Rear axles are 4-1/2 bolt pattern. 4:56 gears . Axles are not shortened at this time. The rear wheels are off set quite a bit. Car could run stock size tires and wheels for factory race classes. Body is solid with previous body panels repaired. The x-11 code is used on SS cars but also on some of the coupes. All SS's in 69 had front disc brakes. I was told that the car was run without front brakes for a couple of years as a drag car. "
