I think that i got screwed?

I am not 100% sure more like 75% sure i got screwed on a loudmouth exhaust. It really sucks b/c i paid over $200 and i am only 17 years old make $7 and hour. It has been over a month since i sent the money order then he says that he is going to ship it then he said that his computer broke and i havent recieved a pm from him in a while. i am started to get really pissed! If i dont get it from him by then end of the week i will give his name and stuff. Is there anything legaly i can do??

Did you write up like a bill of sale or anything of the like? (receipt, etc.) . Sorry to hear that its really unfortunate that some people have to do that. Let us know what happens.

For all my transactions on this forum i've had no problem with any sellers. I'm sure once in a while someone comes around that rips someone off. Once i bought a paintball gun and the guy stalled for 2 months before he sent it. I was upset but at least i did get it in the end. Did you save the receipt from the money order? Do you have his phone number? Call him and tell him you will contact his local authorities if he doesn't refund your money or ship it and provide you with a tracking number.

you can contact the money order company about any possible recourse.

Having his address will let ya find his local authorities. You can then file a complaint with his local police dept. They usually HAVE to send someone out to get his side of the story. Having a policeman visit you may make a person realize that they are not quite so far away..

If you sent the money order via US postal service then it would be mail fraud. They take that stuff very seriously!

Agreed i only use postal money orders because they will act on them to get your money back.

Give him an deadline to get it shipped then contact the authorities in his area.

All you need is his name and address. Also post a username if you have it. You would be suprised how many of them start posting and get in gear once their name gets on the board.

Then again some just dont care.

Good luck getting your money back!
