Question How much for painted silver 97-99 stock C5 wheels?

Sup guys...I have a buddy of mine that is trying to sell his stock genuine GM painted silver 97-99 C5 wheels (the flat five spoke style) and he's not sure as to how much they go for these days. He's asking me to find out from you guys how much he should let them go for because some guy has offered him $200 for the set and I personally think that's waaaay too low, eventhough I don't know the going price for them. I know the salad shooters go for around that price so I figure C5 rims shold be worth more than that. The wheels include center caps - no lugs, sensors, or valve stems. These rims average cosmetic condition is about 9 out of 10. I don't think there are any chips or curb rash, except for a tiny scrape on one of them. BTW, these are off of his '98 C5.

Front = 17"x8.5"
Rear = 18"x9.5"
5 lug 4.75" lug pattern

Thanks fellas.

$250-300, maybe $400 no more then that though, unless they were chrome of course.

I bought some about 2 months ago off of a guy here and paid 275 and also traded to stock wheels. So lets say each wheel was worth 40 then i guess the real total i paid would be 355 and i was happy with that. I think i would ask 300-325.

Hehe, I know I'm prob a lil off on the pricing since I've never really shopped around for wheels of any kind. I think the $200 I was remembering for salad shooters may have been with rubber. Oh well, I just thought $200 for C5 wheels were a bit low, but I would have to agree that the C5 thin spokes are definitely more desireable. Thanks for all your help guys.
