guaging interest in selling my 95 firehawk(modded, cammed m6) Syracuse,NY
ve been toying with the idea of selling my car and like to see if anyone would be interested in it. The car is a 1995 firehawk car number 496. Its black, t-tops with black leather interior. Dual power seats, ac, cc pl,pw ect. It currently has 87,xxx miles on it. Ive had the car just about 4 years now and bought it from the original owner at 27k. Here are the mods i have done to the car:
Engine
-230/236 112lsa with 1.6 cc pro mag rockers,912 springs,titanuem retainers, 16 new lifters.(under 2k miles)
-new opti and new opti harness with under 1k miles on it.
-taylor 8.8 oVC wire set.
-new waterpump. new coil
-bbk 52mmTB,K&N firehawk filter,
-30lb injectors.
3.4k resister mod for knock senser
-160TSTAT
Exaust
-Hooker long tubes with custom 3" x-pipe and 2 16" dynomax bullet mufflers.(dumps before the axel) (I still have the slp 2otl with a welded y-pipe for the longtubes i will include)
suspension
-Up front-12 way KYb shocks with eibrach drag launch springs.
-In rear- Koni adjustable shocks with stock v8 take off springs
-6-point s&w weld in roll bar painted silver.
-2 newer nitto drag radials in back, 2 esta supras up front.
-crossdrilled rotors with new pads all around(fronts will need replacing soon)
Tranny,clutch
-spec stage 3 carbon clutch(2 k miles)
-also the t56 is a tranny from a guy that made a auto swap in his car. t56 has 50k miles on it.
-b&m ripper shifter
-New heavy duty steel driveshaft made from fleet pride.
rear end
-3.73 moser hardened gears with new slp torson diff(8k miles)
inside-
-2 5/8's guages. Liquad filled oil guage in left vent and fuel pressure mounted outside in middle on wiper assembly.
-harlen shiftlight
alpine din- 1/2 with kicker resolution speakers(radio sometimes does not play, havent had time to look into the problem yet)
The cam and all the new parts on the motor(opti, plugs ect) were done over this past winter. The car made 342rwhp 345rwtrq with my a/f at 9 1/2 to 1.) at the speed shop in syracuse(dynojet). I found that one side of my 02's, 3 out of the 4 wires were melted together from the header. So fixing that, the car feels alot better and is not running as rich anymore. Tuning was done by PCM4LESS. The best the car has gone this year is a 12.96 at 108.9 with a 1.95 60ft. This was last weekend at NYIRP at tnt. I know the car has a lot more in it. The car sounds insane at WOT but isn't that bad at idle and has great street manors.
Now the things that it needs-
-Front nose, like every formula will need to be repainted. It has bottomed out a few times and its starting to show it.
-There is a crack on the dash above the 3 vents about 3 inches long
-needs a new a-arm interior piece. This is where i had a dual guage pod for my a/f guages and currently has holes in it.
-It needs an alignment up front.
-At a dead cold start, the car runs rich under open loop until it gets warmed up.(30lbers) But goes away after 2 min of driving.
-Has a small exuast leak on the driver side header that may need patching(very small)
The car has been great and its very fun to drive. From syracuse, its been to canada 3 times, boston twice and north carolina. The mojority have been highway miles.Im asking 9700.00 obo for the car which is very reasonable. If you look under NADA under domestic exotic's the low value is 13k.
