Guaging Interest in LE2 package

I'm going a COMPLETELY different direction with the car, that involves a little more power and no nitrous . ANYWAYS my heads have been shaved a couple times and it is going to be hard for me to get my compression low enough without going with a huge dish. I can get a set of trickflows for 1360 which would put me at the CR I need b/c of the 62cc chamber. So I'm contemplating selling my whole LE2 package, heads, and the cam I have for sale in another thread. I need to get very close to my cost for the Trickflows to make this work. If anyone is interested please let me know. The package has between 10-15k miles. Check sig for times.

Holy $hit, your car is the one after mine...cool. What kind of $$$ are you thinking of? PM me if you want. Nice car, I've always liked white SS's.

That is AWESOME haha. Looks like we were both thinking the same thing with the 383 and LE, you wont be disappointed . While posting this on my local f-body forum I decided to sell my pacesetter headers since I wont be needing them anymore. I came up with prices that I think are pretty fair.


I'm going with a new setup on the car and going with trickflow heads. The price for lloyd elliot's LE2 h/c package is $1750. That's with you providing cores to him. I want to get $1300 for the package, and you can sell your old heads for roughly $200 (sold mine for 250 on ebay) so you're looking at $1100 for a h/c package that can put you in the 11's with supporting mods and a good tune. Will make very close if not over 400rwhp through a 10-bolt in a 6-speed. My car made 375rwhp through the 12-bolt and 28" tires and ran a best of 11.76 @ 117 and went 10.57 @ 133 on a 200 shot running out of gear, it also went 10.97 @ 133 on 150 shot also running out of gear. I also have my pacesetter long tube headers for sale that have flanges welded to them, along with the corresponding y-pipe with flanges for easy removal and installation into another car. The y-pipe also has an additional bung welded in for a wideband. The headers are only two years old and are still in very good condition, they are coated. New the header is $439.95 and y-pipe is $199.95, which comes out to $640 + shipping, those are slip fits that dont have flanges, these have flanges on them. I want to get $450 for headers + y-pipe

pics of header and y-pipe, the passenger side header go oil on it when it came pouring out of the dipstick tube b/c of the blown piston, it also got on the y-pipe
