Sent this dirtbag a $350 Postal Money Order on April 19th for a Borla Cat-Back.

Last contact was a PM from him on May 2nd. He doesnt answer his phone,email or PM. I sent him a certified letter with signiture confirmation and no-one ever signed for it.

if you still have the stub from the money order, you can do a trace. find out if he cashed/deposited the mo. you can call your/his local police dept and press fraud or theft by deception charges. police depts are usually creative if they want to help you. i just went through this same process (wife and i) we got scammed out of $500 for a curio cabinet. ended up getting everything back. good luck

 

yeah contact the police.. also find out all his family address and work address and send them all letters saying how he's a criminal.

 

if no one signed for it, it means he didn't get it. if somehow he did end up w/ it w/out signing for it, just do a trace on the postal money order like those before me mentioned. i highly doubt the post office would hand him the letter w/out signing for it. thats what paying extra for signature confirmation is all about.

 

Man that SUCKS! I would find out where he lives and kick his @$$! No not really, but you should try and report him. I think it is pretty pathetic that people stoop as low as to steal money from car enthusiasts who are just trying to better our cars. This site is based on all trust, and people who cant live with that should not be on here. Maybe they should do a selling type of process thing on here like on Ebay where we are required to leave a review about people who are either buying from us or we are selling to so that maybe everybody can be more alert on it. Good luck finding him.

 

Yeah Im kinda worried i might be getting ripped off too... a seller hasnt contacted me yet telling me my stuff has been shipped and hasnt responded in 5 days to my emails... Its got me worried.
