Got boost? Thunderbird Turbo Coupes for sale.

I'm selling to purchase something with a few more cylinders. The 87 though, has no problem hanging with a stock 4.6 litre Mustang Automatic. Very fun to drive, but read below and see if they're for you.

Two cars, for $2000.

First car is my daily driver. I take it on 2 to 3 hour road trips all the time. It's very reliable and even returns good gas mileage. It's an 87 Turbo Coupe. It has 174k miles on it, but it really doesn't show it's age. It's Regatta Blue with a dark blue interior. The interior is perfect, all power works and a/c blows cold. Car will come with brand new $300 Eclipse CD player if it goes for the right price, otherwise, the stock am/fm cassette goes with it.

Clutch: 10k easy miles
Brakes: work very well, with a little warpage on the front rotors. E-brake work perfect and the calipers were replaced 10k miles ago.
Tires: about 3k miles on them.
Wheels: 16 stock snowflakes, average condition
Paint: I'd honestly give it a 6 out of 10. The rood is faded in spots and has had poorly prepped respray on the front. The hood and fenders look fantastic, but the head panel has paint bubbling in spots. The bumper have cracking all over them.
Engine: stock internally, Audi FMIC with BOV and IHI pushing 19 psi. 11* base timing. Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator and walboro 255 lph fuel pump.
Everything works. Including the adjustable ride control. I installed relays on the headlights, as well as newly polished lenses and housing and 115w/135w headlights. Let's just say you can see pretty well at night.

Exhaust: 3 inch to 2 2 1/4". No cat. The sound is nice and doesn't drone going down the road.

It does have some rust, but nothing major. The front driver's side fender has rust around the top of the wheel and the doors have rust starting along the bottom. All of this is minimal and doesn't detract from the look of the car.

This car is a well sorted driver that has years of life left. I really need to get $1700 out of it.

Car No. 2
1985 Turbo Coupe. T3 non-intercooled. It has 140k miles on it. The engine and transmission were rebuilt 1k miles and two years ago. The guy built the engine then went to start it. It ran awesome, just would not run at anything above an idle. So the guy parked it for about 18 months, and then sold it to his neighbor. They next owner found one of the Vam wires to be broken and he replaced it. The car now runs awesome.

I replaced the starter, master cylinder and both front brake calipers. It also has new brake lines and hoses on the front of the car.

The car hasn't been driven in two years, so I would suggest trailering home. But keep in mind this would be a fantastic donor for any parts you'd need.

The body is actually pretty solid. It does have some rot on the shock towers, but there is enough metal there to weld in a plate if you needed, or do what ever you want with it. It has a big spot of bondo in the rear quarter behind the driver's rear tire and it has a rust hole in the trunk. It comes with some 15 inch chrome 5 spoke american racing wheels and 4 mismatched, crappy tires.

It runs, and brakes. That alone is worth $500. And that's what I want for it.

You can take both cars with clean titles for $2000. Here's a link to pics of the 87.

I will try to get pics of the 85 tomorrow. Email or PM me or post in this thread to keep bumping it if interested.

Thanks,
Chris
