When I put this together only the best parts were used. Much of it is borderline overkill, but it allows expansion in the future and peace of mind that stuff wont break in the present. You really wont find or be able to put together a better valvetrain without spending much much more. Compare what you get here to a hotcam kit, better everything, plus pushrods and lifters.

To finish off the kit you will need 7/16 rocker studs ($29 bucks) and pushrod guideplates ($17 bucks) (Bought mine from combo, but am still using them). Also need to make sure you install the springs with correct shimming (totally depend on your setup).

The springs, lifters, and locks have less than 1k miles on them. The rest of the parts have less than 10k. All parts in great condition with the following noted. Some of the retainers have some scars/grooves in the top of them from when i dropped the valves (nothing to do with failure of these parts). I used them afterwards without issues. Also the rocker arms have some dremel marks in the body where i clearanced them for large springs. Everything else is perfect, like new.

what are the specs of the GM 847? is it an emmission friendly cam on a 350 or 383?

It passed a roller check here in ohio on a 383, following numbers were produced. Car was ported head lt4, no air, no egr, and twin cats. You could compare to make sure it will pass in your area. No NOx check here. If you keep the EGR on your car the NOx should stay in check anyways.

HC 23.2, limit 99.......pass
0% CO....mit .55%....pass

 

any chance of a part out? I don't want comp r's in my car, and you can't give them away with the problems they have been having, also I want a bigger ratio rocker, so would you sell minus those two items? if so, how much? I am looking to get my heads done up right prolly by advanced inductions, and if I can get parts cheaper that would rock! :-)
