FS: WS6 shocks and springs

This is a set of WS6 decarbon shocks and springs off my 1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. They are still in excellent condition. There was maybe 40-50000kms on this setup before I upgraded to another lowering set. I have since sold my car and have no use for these springs/shocks. Lemme know if you need pics. I'll take any offers and you pay the shipping fees!! I just want to get them out of the garage. These are located in BC, Canada. Thanx for lookin'!

Re: FS: WS6 shocks and springs

Do you know whether these will fit a 96? Also are the WS6 spring rates different than non WS6 cars. Is the ride height the same or lower than non WS6 cars?

Thanks

Re: FS: WS6 shocks and springs

I did some looking for ya:
Yes these spings/shocks will work on your car.
The spring rates are stiffer than non WS6 cars. The rates I found on www.socal-fbodies.org/resource/susp4a.html showed a spring rate of 360 lb/in vs 292 lb/in fronts and variable 130-180 lb/in vs 114 lb/in rears. The ride wouldn't really be any different (maybe within +/-0.5in) of your stock setup depending on how many miles you have on your car already. That would be good if you do a lot of drag racing...the ride height would not affect your control arm angles etc. I also see you're in Ontario...I would make that price $110 CAD shipped (instead of US funds)...save ya a few bucks! Let me know!
