FS or Trade G-forceFX 5600 256mb MSI vid card

I have a MSI FX5600 card with the nVidia G-Force FX5600 chipset and 256 MB of DDR ram.

AGP 8X
S video TV out
DVI
AGP

Only reason I have it and am not using it is the computer is was in become a remote server, so no need for a vid card.

I'd like 100 usd for it
or
trade pretty much any N2O stuff thats not a basic kit.

Not trying to ruin your sale, but anyone buying............

the FX processor is not the best of the graphics cards, I have a 64MB geforce4 MX440, that does better in benchmarks as a 128MB FX processor.....

Not saying it is terrible, just research before you buy, Walmart is selling these at $150 right now............

funny, mines 256mb, and in bench marks performed almost the same as my ATI 9600 pro in my machine...
hard to go to walmart and trade too.

In response to BamaZ28 he also forgot to mention it matters which fx you get. If memory serves me right the 5600 and up perform better then the mx chips do. Check out tomshardware.com if you have questions. On the left side there is a link to video cards/graphics cards click on it and look for benchmark testing.

Yes...

I was just recommending to research before buying, not saying anything bad about the seller OR the product....

Good luck

i dont think the mx440 can out perform anything i had it and it blew dick in just about every game i played with it, i wouldnt give a bucket of **** for an MX card

i went from a gf4 mx440 card to a gf FX card and theres no comparison, plus some upcoming games wont have mx support

It all depends on which FX card you get...the Ultra series will absolutely destroy any MX card you can come up with and it beats the non ultra series hands down...especially if you go by benchmark numbers....I do agree that you have to research before buying a video card, but for some people they are not looking for a killer video card and the 5600 is not a terrible card and it should beat a MX fairly easily.....

I will take my 9500 Pro over any of those cards though other than 9800 Pro and XT's and the 5900 and 5950 Ultra because my 9500 Pro slightly overclocked beats the 9700 Pro, the 9600XT and most geForce cards out there.....its all about the research, but again 100 bucks isn't too bad of a deal
