FS: TCI LT1 3000RPM Torque converter.

I have a used 3000 RPM Torque converter out of my '95 for sale. Still looks pretty damn good on the outside runs and locks-up like new. Was very streetable even with my CC305 and CNC ported heads. Never had any issues with this at all. Asking $300 +Shipping OBO.

EDIT: The bolts for this convertor are larger than stock and one of the bolt holes in the flywheel will need to be drilled slightly larger. This is very easy and only takes a few seconds to do with any drill. The 3 grade-8 bolts are included.

Why are you selling? What speed did the conv. stall to with your setup?

Re: FS: TCI LT1 3000RPM Torque converter.

I am selling off all the performance stuffs on the car and perhaps even the car itself. I need to get a more versatile daily driver that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to insure.

It stalled at about 22-2500 if I was just driving on the street going from a stop. But if I really romped on it is came on nice at about 3200. But it would still creep if I took my foot off the break at a stop like a stock converter would. It is a very streetable convertor that net me about .35-.4 improvement in the 1/4 mile. Gas mileage suffered in the city as it would with any higher stall converter. But it locked up sweet and smooth for cruising.
