FS: Pair of 3" Flowtech Glasspacks (Purple Hornies)

I have a pair of Flowtech mufflers with 3" turndowns for sale. Less than 100 miles on them. Went with 2-chamber Flows on my LX. One has a dent on the top of it, but doesn't effect flow at all. I also cut the 3-bolt flange off and welded them up. This is the link from Summit. Good for a budget dual setup.

$50 shipped.

Derrick, Richie is about to put together a small stroker for Mike's old '89 'vert. Why not give him a call and see if he would like them...
Just a thought...

Still sitting in the garage. I also have a new set of 3-bolt flange reducers I can throw in for 10 bucks. So the mufflers can be bolted directly onto the headers again.

So there are no flanges now? I posted a question about these in the LT1 tech, and I was told the ground clearance sucked when bolting them up to Hooker LT's. I might be interested? Do you have pics of them installed?

I can vouch for the Hornies... the sound isn't for everybody, but wide open your car will sound like a freakin' top fuel dragster. About the only reason I got rid of mine was because it was just *too* loud (especially when you roll into a neighborhood to drop a girl off at 2:00 AM ).

Have fun with 'em...

No flanges on them now. I do have a set of new 3-bolt flanges that you can use though. All you need to do is weld them to the mufflers and they would be just like they where new. I don't have any pics. I had them on my LX, not on the Z28. I hear the ground clearance isn't too bad. You could use the 3-bolt flanges and possibly tilt the mufflers up a bit and then weld. To increase ground clearance some. I'll take $60 shipped for the mufflers and 3-bolt flange reducers. Let me know what you decide.

How much TQ do you lose with these? Isnt it like running with open headers? I'm deciding on losing my duals and going with a pair of these.

Anyone know how these sound at idle? I'm not worried about WOT

I wish I had a sound clip. They sound deep, and very intimidating at idle. At WOT they sound like a dragster. They have a pic of them installed in LT1 tech.
