They're for a normal SBC. I'm pretty sure the cover won't work with an LT1 because of the cam driven waterpump. Make a post in the LT1 section about the interchangeability of timing sets between normal SBCs and LT1s. The timing set comes with the chain and both gears.

Should work if you had an electric WP on the LT1.

I figured as much but I'm no expert on LT1s and don't want to steer someone wrong in the process of making a sale.

The TIMING COVER WILL NOT WORK!

The OPTI runs off the front of the cam.

Old school SBC don't have this hole..

But you CAN use the timing chain set ( as long as its for a roller cam ) on an LT1 WITH and ele. water pump.

Thanks for the clarification. This is a roller cam timing set.

I was asking for 80 for both. The timing set runs about 55 and the cover 60 so I figured 80 would be a good deal.

Thread that discusses using a Cloyes hex-a-just in an LT1. I have now received payment for the timing set though but the cover is still for sale.
