Just like the title says.

Tried to install but it won't clear my FLPs so I am going with a CVR starter. It was bought from Jason Cromer, which I paid $157 total shipped to my door.

I was thinking about getting one. Why wont it clear the FLP's? I thought it was smaller than the stock one? I have FLP's too.

 

It is smaller but there is a bolt that is inset which has a protective outer casing that hits the #8 primary. In order for you to clearance it, you would either have to grind the casing down or dent the primary. I'm not about to dent my set of $1100 headers to get it to fit. However, if I don't sell the starter I just may grind the casing down seeing that the CVR unit may also have fitment issues with FLPs.
