FS/FT: 1964 Chevy II/Nova

This is a great driver that makes lots of power. I haven't taken it to the strip, but based on a little friendly "speed contest" with a friend, the car appears to be a high 12 second car (beating my friend's 13 second Iroc by several lengths).

Motor: 350 Chevy, bored .030 over. Forged pistons, steel crank, rods are polished. Completely balanced assembly. Comp Cams 230/236 roller cam with roller lifters. SFI flywheel and balancer. Dart iron Eagle 180 heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves and 64cc chambers. 9.75:1 compression. HEI distributor. Single wire alternator with serpentine belt system. Edelbrock aluminum water pump. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Edelbrock 600cfm Performer carb. Electric cooling fan. Optima yellow top battery is trunk mounted with a kill switch.

Transmission: TH350 with manual valve body, 3500 stall Hughes converter, shift kit, Hurst shifter.

Wheels: Cragar S/S with new tires.

Interior: New carpet, but the car sat outside in the sun when the previous owner had it, and it sun faded in some areas. Bucket seats in the front, custom upholstered rear bench seat. Sony AM/FM/Cassette deck with jensen speakers. Pro Comp liquid filled gauges included. See the "Extras" list for the new seats and stereo that come with the car.

Body: Overall good condition. Looks great going down the road. Up close, there are some rust areas starting, but are not beyond repair. A weekend worth of work and this car would be ready for fresh paint. See the pics for details. It's mainly some bubbles at this point. All the trim is there, complete, and in good to very good condition. This is a high trim level car as you can see in the pics. Lots of chrome and aluminum.

Make no mistake, this is not some chopped up race car. This is a great classic car that can be driven anywhere. This holiday weekend I just drove it to Traverse City and back (from Battle Creek - 220 miles each way) and showed it in the Cherry Festival car show where it drew LOTS of attention. A little TLC is all that's needed, and that can even wait til winter if you like. Enjoy turning heads the rest of the summer in this thing as it sits

Extras: I have a set of NICE bucket seats from a 95 camaro I will include. Also I have a front disc brake conversion kit for it That's pretty much a bolt on job. I have a Ford 9" rear for the car too, but it's a pretty high end setup, and I'd need some extra cash for it or a better trade offer. If someone's interested in the extra rear end, just let me know and I'll list specs.

I'm looking for a jeep TJ, turbo car of some sort, other classic cars, notchback mustang 5 speed, camaro/trans am, maybe a sport bike, ski boat, pair of ATVs/watercraft, or....?
