I thought that the consoles were the same from 93-97...

 

nope, the 97 and up have a different console lid with the hinge on the side, the swing-out cupholder on the passenger side, and the slightly different ashtray. I knew the consoles were different, but did not realise the change in the ashtray.......

 

I had the whole console out a few minutes ago to install some other goodies, and this will just plain not work in my car. I would have to grind some of the plate away, and its too nice for me to mess up. All you 93-96 guys will love this though.

Will also work out a trade with someone. I have a Random Tech catback to throw in the mix as well.
