I don't claim to be a cam expert, but this is a good daily driver cam with decent performance potential and would be fine in an auto trans car. FYI I made numbers in my sig with this cam, (Dyno Numbers), ET was with a different cam. You wouldn't have to get new rockers, but Comp Cams Pro Magnums, would increase valve lift, (1.6 vs 1.5 ratio), so I guess I would recommend doing this if you're planning a cams, springs change.
if this cam will work then I am very interested. how much is shipping to 29669. the 1.6 rr is all I would need to get install right. no computer tuning either right. what kind of gains should I see? and I don't want to bother you with all the question but would you say this cam is better than the lt4 hot cam. I may start a quick thread to get opions on the setup and my car. but i can have the money friday and sent sat. I am very serious. Thanks!!
$200 is outrageous

I ran the cc305 for a lil while and really liked it. It behaved very well on the street and maintained good vacuum for the brakes. Tuning will be required unless you like stalling out and having your eyes water when sitting at stop lights but PCMforless or Madwolf can hook you up with a tune that is dead on and will get to you fast. As for the cc305 being better than the hotcam, its debatable but the spec on the two are very similar. The cc305 is a little bigger but only by a couple degrees on both the intake and exhaust sides. The springs are good too. I ran this cam/spring combo with the CC 1.6 self alligning ProMag RR's and they worked well with one another. I dynoed 280rwhp and 302rwtq running lean before a tune and when I finally got a tune, I ran a 13.11 @ 108(I havent dynoed but Id guess Im in the 300-310 range) with stock gears and stock converter. Since Ive added the 3500 stall converter and ran the time in my sig with stock gears and some sticky tires.
