FS: Borla Y-Pipe and Stock Headers
I am selling my Borla Y-Pipe and or Stock Headers for a 1994-1995 Fbody. I recently upgraded to SLP headers. The Borla Y-Pipe was used for about 4 months. Any questions email me.

Re: FS: Borla Y-Pipe and Stock Headers
The stock headers or more frequently called exhaust manifolds are what came stock on my 95 firehawk. They have about 45,000 miles on the exhaust manifolds and the y-pipe has maybe 500 miles on it. I had the ypipe on for only 4 months before I decided upgrade to my SLP headers. The ypipe added 10 rwhp after I had it dynoed. Not a seat of the pants feel but definately made my car sound like it had headers. I am asking 100 for both plus buyer pays shipping. I also will include an 02 sensor that is still screwed into the y-pipe. It is the original one that came with the car. Nothing wrong with it. I just bought two new ones when I installed the headers.
Re: FS: Borla Y-Pipe and Stock Headers
This is not an offroad y-pipe! An offroad y-pipe would be considered to be more freeflowing by extending the y-pipe and removing or gutting the catalytic converter. There is a picture of the y-pipe that I am selling on thunderacing's website under 1993-1997 fbody cars, under exhaust and then the y-pipe link. The borla y-pipe they sell new is 229.99. If you are emission concious. This pipe would be the way to go and on the other hand you could gut the stock catalytic converter; you have and get some 02 simms though. Keep in mind that this y-pipe will only attach itself to the stock manifolds which I have. Or if you have the stock manifolds still that would work as well. I know it would be a pain to put the ones that I have on. I also forgot to mention that if I have the flares to insert into the y-pipe itself. You will need these because thunderacing did not have any to send. Helps make a better seal between the two flanges of the manifolds. There is no type of gasket that borla makes (i tried calling) or that anyone that I know makes to seal up the gap. I am willing to sell this still for a 100.00 bucks plus shipping. I think this a fare offer considering they want 229.99 plus shipping. I am not wanting to make a profit. The diameter of the pipe is 3" and is stainless steel. I believe the stock diameter is 2 and 1/4 or 2 and 1/2. Not quite certain on that. I know that is will only fit on a 94-95 lt1 fbody. No earlier or later. The sound is awesome. A more throatier sound. I could feel the air under the floorboard being sucked through the pipe at WOT. It sounds like you have headers! The install for labor on the exhaust shop I paid was like 60 bucks. A bargain alternative to headers.
Re: FS: Borla Y-Pipe and Stock Headers
I have no pics because I do not have a digital camera and a usb to upload to my computer. But like I said a pic is on the thunderacing website. This will only fit on a 94-95. I see you have 96 so that won't work unless you are getting it for another car.
