Sounds like a fair asking price to me. If you want an engine you can bolt in with a warranty, call jasper ya putz and leave this guy alone so he can sell his stuff. 50% of what it costs to build is a great deal. If you have the $$ to buy this engine, you better have the $$ to put into it should something need replacing or should something break after a few passes. Thats what racings all about. If you aint got that kind of money, this is NOT the engine for you. If you think going 8's and reliability go hand in hand you'er out of your mind. At that level, things break, and it costs tons of $$ to keep going that fast. It really is like a drug, if you wanna play, you gotta pay. Unfortunately some of us will never have that kind of $$. Even if you beat him down to $10k for the whole setup, if you're crying about the price now, you would never be able to keep this setup going week after week, so go to summit and buy an overpriced $5k longblock and HOPE it stays together.

Good luck, this motor is bad ***, some one is getting one helluva deal, it would cost so much more duplicate this set up.
