FS: 95'z28 convertible 6spd
Alright, here's the deal, short and sweet.
1995 Z28 Convertible (Bright Teal Metallic) with every factory option at order aside from leather (cd player, power seat, premium sound, abs, power galore, oil cooler, 245's from the factory). Everything works (but the passenger side window is a little slow). It's a 6-speed! It has the original window sticker, sales flyer, and has been treated well. Owned by a supervisor at the dealership till 30k, then sold to his girlfriend who owned it till 135k. I have owned it since. Car is rather clean, no holes or rips in the seats, only hole is a wear mark where the clutch heel goes. New floormats would fix that, which I will provide if a good offer is made.
Good:
New shocks,struts,water pump,optispark,filters,belt,plugs,wires,etc. within 10k. Brand New starter with a lifetime warranty. Winshield will be replaced before car is sold. No marks, no scratches, nothing.
Mods include:
MAC coated headers (on there for 300 miles) Corsa powerpulse (1000 miles or so). FF75 fog lamps.
218/230 114LSA Extreme Energy Cam, CC Type R lifters, Double Roller Timing Chain, Cmotorsports springs/pushrods etc, and GM Perf. 1.6rr... all within 1000 miles.
ECU has been done by PCMforless. Also has an electric water pump, SLP CAI, WELD IN Sub frames and a Strut Brace (Both by BMR) and a brand new top of the line battery with like 800cca.
I have a scanmaster installed into the gauge bezel (see firebird method) and it can come with the car or not. IF not, I have a mint gauge bezel to replace it, and a spare vent to install it that way if you want it (see typical pre 96 install) That's most of the mods...
The bad: She has 142,000 miles, and needs tires.
The REALLY BAD: Motor is running, not siezed, but clacking like a bad rod bearing or collapsed lifter, or something else. Compression was tested after valvetrain install but before knocking and was dead on. Leakdown test also done by the dealership, and was also dead on. Considering the fact that the clacking is intermittent, it is just starting, and probably not serious. You can easily make the noise go away by changing the engine rpm and load... So it may just need new lifters or a bearing job, or a full blown rebuild, or who knows. Your call.
If I sell the car, the buyer can choose the mods they like. All the mods are installed, but can be removed. If headers arent wanted, I can put the stock manifolds/y-pipe back with the car. Waterpump is electric, and stays that way because of double roller setup.
