FS: 95Z Convertible

Hate to do it. I had big plans for this car, but my apt. got broken into and after replacing the necessities I am coming up short on tuition fees for school. I decided to try my luck here first and if not here put it up on ebay.

The car is a 95 Z28 with approx 139,000 (still rolling..its my daily driver). I actually just purchased this car about a month ago, but like I said due to the misfortune I have to sell it. So far I replaced the waterpump with a CSI electric pump. The intake elbow was modified to clear the electric pump. A brand new opti was put on as well as new plugs, wires, and a new MSD ignition coil while I was in there. The top end of the motor is fresh. I installed the LT4 kit (LT4 cam, springs, shims, retainers, and keepers) and ran the heads while they were off. I work at a machine shop and did them at work so I know they were done right .

The car is in need of new front tires and there are a few blemishes in the paint not really obvious until someone points them out. The convertible top works great and has no rips and does not leak. The car is supposed to go on the dyno early next week to get tuned (if they aren't too busy over there) so the car will really be dialed in.

I need to get $6500 for the car. If you are interested shoot me some electronic mail. I have a few pictures, but like a lot of other things my digital camera got stolen when some a-hole came into my place. I am going to give one of those disposable digital cameras a whirl though. jchandler@tlanta.com

Not really good at this. It has a manual trans btw. Previous owner said he just put in a fresh clutch when I got it. The car is black with a black top and has a grey interior. The car also is running 1.6 roller rockers and has an LT4 knock module. It also comes with kenwood cd player installed.

$6,500 is asking wayyyy to much for that car. You're actually over the normal mileage for a 1995 car. Try knocking off a couple thousand.

That's my old car. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, Speed Addiction. I really wouldn't mind having the car back. Someone will be getting a good f-body, especially being that summer is just around the corner.

Any pics would be great mcd@11to3.com - I'd -love- a convertible, as long as the body/interior is in nice shape, it might be do me well - you said manual, not sure whether or not a 95 would be 5 or 6? prolly 6... and if anyone else that reads this knows, any idea how hard it'd be to pull that engine out and drop in my 2001 ls1 w/ vortec supercharger and m6 tranny?

Since I got no responses in time to meet my fee deadline I am keeping the car. All manual V8s from '93 have 6-speeds by the way. I pulled the motor already and its well on its way to getting a 383 between the fenders. Thanks for your interest in it though.
