FS: 4l60e & 3,000 stall converter
FS: 4l60e & 3,000 stall converter
I have a stock 4l60e tranny from a 1997 Z28 for sale. It has 26,000 miles on it and shifts very nice. I am selling it to do a 6-speed conversion. -Asking $250 + shipping
Also have a Hughes 3,000 stall lock-up torque convertor that works in a
4l60e. This literally has 2,000 miles on it. I was able to cut 60 ft. times in the 1.6's and 1.7's with this stall on half-worn drag radials. Drivability is also great.
-Asking $290 SHIPPED
- I am really looking to get rid of this stuff cause I am doing a 6-speed swap.

How much for the 4L60E out of the '97 Z28 with 26K miles on it? Can you email me about that at tjmcp@yahoo.com. I am in GA (zip code 30019), you think it can be shipped? Did the stall converter ever get used on it?
Thanks!
Many people interested in the stall - but nobody has finalized the deal yet. I am asking $350 plus shipping. This stall has VERY low miles on it and performs amazing. I was hitting 1.6's-1.7's 60 ft. times in my car with only a moderate amount of horsepower and drag radials. The drivability is also very good.
tranny is also in great shape for anyone who needs one.....

valter, no that tranny wont bolt up to your v6, I ran into that problem when my 3.4's tranny died, the LT1 bellhousing is different than for the 3.4 and 3.8 engines. Im not sure between the 3.4 and 3.8 if those two will interchange, as the 3.4 is chevy and the 3.8 is a buick engine. But there is at least 2 different 4l60e transmissions for our cars. ***not tryin to hijack the post, jus tryin to help a f-body brother out ***
