383 lt1 short block
keith black forged pistons with 6 cc valve reliefs
scat 9000 cranck
forged h beam rods
block was resurfaced
balanced to within about 2 grams
pistons set .02 on the hole
compression sat at about 11:1 with 1074 head gaskets and a 58cc chamber head
with a set of ported dart heads this motor was going 11.0 consistently on motor but rings were gaped with a 150 shot in mind



just the short block id let go for 2200

i can add in the cc306 cam
cloyes double roller timing set
and 95 timing cover
canton pan
HV oil pump
and high torque starter for 2800

engine is pick up only located in northern indiana

i also have a mezier electric water pump SOLD

How many miles on the short? Was it ever hit? Was it ever on the strip and if so what times did it run?

 

There are right around 5k on the short block (that is a HIGH estimate). I sprayed only one bottle through it before i had the heads ported. With dart heads ported it was doing 11.0's @ 122 mph still through an lt1 intake with an opti and a cc306 cam.
