Hey dude, thanks for the helping hand but don't bother sinking to his level.
You know what they say, "Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience" Or was it from a distance people who don't know you can't tell who's who? :dunno:

Also, i have to laugh. I looked at pee pee's profile. I was a member of this site either a few months after he got his license (if it's 17) or a year after. (if it's 16)
Just thought that was funny. :haha:

The problems that you are having is for one reason caused by the fact that it needs a top, something that is very expensive. The used car market is very soft right now. I might suggest that you try to sell it on Ebay.

The top's not really that much. There's a place down the street from me who'll do the whole job for 500 including a new back window.
Also, notice pee pee is no more?
Typical troll..
Ok kids, thanks for those who helped out and even to you kids who are helping to entertain me. I think a little back and forth smack talk is kinda fun.

G'nite all. I'm off to bed. In the mornign I'm heading out to see what kind of Et's i can put down in the Slowbra.
Then we'll start looking for a shop to tune the blower.

Input on the top. That is a big issue. But, my gf's dad has an 87 GT drop top. Not in as good of shape as yours, but not bad. He and I are going to completely redo it. Of course it needs a top so I've been looking around. I found a few, the same color I was looking for WITH a glass back window. The lowest price I found was around $250. I've seen several in the $280-$350 range. Putting in a new top yourself really isn't all that bad either, just time consuming. Any car guy on this site could probably do it with ease.
So I guess my point is. Although the top might be an issue it's really not all that big of a deal, even though it is the actual roof of the car. It's just finding a person who is confident about either paying for a new top install or confident about doing it themselves.
Another thing is timing. This time of year selling a sports car, especially a convertible is quite a tough thing to do. If the prospective buyer is like me it makes things even more rough. I live in Michigan(where it snowed last week), have no garage to store the car, and don't have a couple days free any time soon to install a new top real quick. So don't feel discouraged if it doesn't sell soon. Even if you don't sell it by spring, after the weather get's nice again I'm sure you'll have a sale in a heartbeat.
