FRESH LT1 ONLY 4K miles:
FRESH LT1 ONLY 4K Miles!
REDUCED!!! $2700-OBO!!!
Need a fresh LT1? This one was in my car for only a few months before it got hit by an unliscenced driver who decided not to stop for a red light:
**Motor Professionally built and Blueprinted by Automotive Precision Machine in Highland, NY with spec sheet available on request. Engine removal and reinstallation was also done professionally.
**All new internals (except crank and rods) including Mahle (KB Hyperutentic) STD bore pistons (block did not need Boring), rings, bearings, timing chain, gaskets, etc.
**GM LT4 hot-cam kit with Comp Cams roller lifters and new pushrods.
**Stock heads redone with a 3-angle valve job and shaved .012" (blown head gaskets was the reason for the rebuild).
**New Opti, Plugs, Wires and MSD coil.
**PCM with MadZ28 tune and complete wiring harness.
**Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
**165 Degree Thermostat.
Over $3800 in receipts, and I got great deals on alot of the new parts! I only paid $450 for the hotcam kit, $175 for the Comp Cams roller lifters, $200 for the Opti! Asking $2800 OBO! Make An Offer! The miles can be documented. I plan to bring it up to my machinist for a clean bill of health and fresh leakdown test (I'm personally curious where it's at since it was real tight before even being turned over) and will do so before completing any sale.
I have a case of Mobil 1 synthetic oil and filter I'll include with the sale, as it was time for it's first 3K oil change which, unfortunately, I never got to do. My only regret with this rebuild was not having the money to port and polish the heads or get the complete LT4 head and intake package to get over 420HP out of it. As it sits I'd feel comfortable in saying it makes 365HP.
Two unflattering pics of the motor can be seen on my cardomain link. The motor is in lower NY and would prefer personal pickup so I know you're satisfied with the motor. I would consider shipping it but I wouldn't recommend it, I bet it would cost a ton of cash.
The car is completely gone, this motor is all that's left. If I don't get a decent price for it I'll have to find a car to put it in, like a 92-96 vette, or old chevy convertible. But honestly, I'd rather have the cash so I can afford a C5. PM me with any questions.
