alright, do to the circumstances ive decided to part with an engine i had planned on using down the road,

what i have is a 1995 383 lt1 engine,

2 bolt main
forged eagle 3.75 inch crank
forged eagle 6inch rods
forged .030 srp pistons
arp rod bolts+main studs and i DO have the build sheet, work total'd about $2600 if my memory serves me correct

now, ive personally ran this shortblock in my car and can verify it is in fine working order., good oil pressure no knocks or pings etc the only catch is the motor has been on a stand in my garage for approx 2 years and has collected a considerable amount of dust as well as some VERY light surface rust on the block. (comes right off with wd40)

what i would SUGGEST to any potential buyer is to give this engine a quickie teardown, a quick hone and rings&bearings along with a nice thorough cleaning.

im looking to get $850 for the engine and i am FIRM. for less then a grand you can have youself a fresh forged 383 you cant beat that..

i would be happy to awnser anyones questions and i can easily text some pictures to anyone whos interested ( my camera is packed away- movin to florida hence the sale) i believe this engine will produce a 10.4:1 compression with the stock heads. also, if wanted, i can leave the loyd elliot custom ground 2.3 cam in the engine for an additional 150 dollars. this cam has only approx 20 mins of run time on it.

Bump for a good deal. If my Cobra sells any time soon, I'm very interested. A couple of questions:

1. Are you willing to ship?
2. Are the rod bolts the ones that came with the kit or the upgraded ARP2000s?
3. Are you sure about the rod length? The 12107 stroker kit says it comes with 5.7" rods. The "5700" in the part number is also a 5.7" part number.

the rod bolts im not sure about and you may be absolutly right about the rods i wrongfully just assumed the typical 383 setup was used, i purchased this motor as a running engine second hand so im not 100% familiar with the parts used, sorry for the mix up,
