F/S Center Bolt Valve Cover Adapters PN24502540
I have a set of GM billet aluminum center bolt valve cover adapters PN24502540 for sale. These adapters allow perimeter bolt valve cover to be used on 87 and up center bolt valve cover heads. They are complete with all hardware and o-rings. I was going to use them on my car, but an unexpected 396 build curently under way needs the funding instead. I also have a set of Fel Pro perimeter bolt valve cover gaskets I purchased that will go with the adapters. they are the good ones, a steel shim in the middle, with rubber on both sides. they are reusable, and seal very well. The adapters from GM Parts Direct go for $122.70 plus shipping, and the gaskets were around $20. I am asking $100 shipped for them. The adaptes are new, and only one of them was bolted up for a test fit, never on a running motor.
I also have a set of GM Bow Tie Tall Cast aluminum Valve Covers PN 10185064 that I was going to use on this motor. They are also new, with the exception of the passenger side valve cover that I started to modify to clear the alternator. The drivers side goes on with no modification. the passenger side needs to be clearanced. I cut out a small section, and was going to have a plate welded up to clear the alternator, but never finished the project. New, the valve covers go for $195.51 plus shipping from GM Parts Direct for the pair, or they can be bought singley for about $100 each. I will let the pair go for $100 shipped. I can take pics with my webcam of the modified valve cover if anyone is interested in them. I would also be willing to work out a package deal if someone was interested in the adapters and valve covers.
