F/S 95 T/A 83,000 miles, needs motor work
Are you sure this car is a '95??? Why doesnt it have the hise rise spoiler? I thought all '95 TA's got the high-rise, I know that the 94's had the regular spoiler unless it was a GT model. Just curious.
Would your dad consider trades?? I have a sharp '91 TA in the sig if he's interested. Let me know.

Welllll, if your so smart, youd know that you car put a cap and rotor kit in an opti, if its working properly, theres no need to replace the whole thing.

Further more Many Optis have crapped out well before the kind of miles he has.
I agree 100% with LREFLYBYOU, if you're there, do it right the first time...
As far as a price goes, the LT1 cars aren't worth a whole lot, and they are losing value each day. I have a 95 Z28 that has 59,000 on the clock now, and runs Perfect, no leaks, no issues, bright paint, new tires, etc... I would be very surprised if I could get over 6 ~ 6.5 K from it.
So considering he has to atleast pull the top end, most likely have the heads machined, and then make sure the rest of the cooling system isn't messed up, Possibly have a total rebuild, I think that the original offer is fair...
Here is what I found from www.kbb.com, I selected Fair Value:
Private Party Value $5,610
Now subtract from that the time and money he is going to have to throw at it to get it to run right....
